- Light in Open Clearings: Always ignite fireworks outdoors on flat, open ground far away from parked vehicles, dry grass, and buildings.
- Strict Adult Supervision: Ensure children are supervised by adults at all times when handling sparklers, ground chakkars, and flower pots.
- Wear Fitted Cotton Clothes: Wear protective cotton clothing and closed-toe footwear. Avoid loose, synthetic, or flowing garments.
